Rooted in nature and craft
Our work begins with natural materials: stone with real movement, warm woods, layered textures, and architectural details meant to age well. We choose each one for how it will live over decades, not just how it looks the day you move in.
We design new homes and whole home renovations alongside the architects and builders our clients trust, and we stay with each home until it's finished, down to the linens.
About us
our APPROACH
Design, materials and cabinetry, and finishing, held to one vision from the first plans to the final walkthrough. Our roots are in construction, so we know which materials last and which details matter.

Splendid Home began with a simple belief: how a home is made matters as much as how it looks. After more than a decade in residential design and construction, Bianca Fathauer founded the studio to give her clients both, work of real craftsmanship and an experience that feels calm, considered, and personal.
Today we take on a limited number of homes each year, and we like it that way. It means a small team who knows your home as well as you do, from the first conversation to the day we hand you the keys. We do right by our clients when no one is watching, and every visit to the studio should feel like a welcome. When you take care of people, everything else falls into place.

Every home we take on begins at the studio, talking through how you live, what you're building, and who's building it with you.
